  INTRODUCTION Sometime around December 2024, I came across a quote by the great American orator, Frederick Douglass. He said: "It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken adults."  Those words stayed with me and for days, I kept asking myself one simple question: "What if we begin to shape the minds of our young people before society shapes them negatively?"  The more I reflected, the more I became convinced that one of the greatest investments any society can make is not only in buildings or infrastructure alone , but in the minds of its young people.  That was how the idea of Ignite Early Abilities (IEA) was born and the platform of the Oyo State Youth Parliament is a great opportunity to   bring this vision that I had since 2024 into reality, beginning with the wonderful young minds of Akinyele I State Constituency.   Today is another historic day, and I, Victor Ayomide Ogunsola , stand before you with a great sense of humility and gratitude as I am sworn into the 3rd Assembly of the Oyo State Youth Parliament as a member representing the great Akinyele I State Constituency. Today is another opportunity for me to begin the journey to serve and embrace a responsibility to advocate, a responsibility to collaborate, and a responsibility to contribute to sustainable youth development in my constituency (Akinyele I) and Oyo State at large. I consider it a privilege to be counted among young people who have been given this opportunity, and I sincerely appreciate the administration of His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde , for his continued commitment to youth inclusion and development. I also appreciate the Chairman of the Agency for Youth Development, Hon.
